My full name is Captain Brightlight and I am in charge of the lamppost called HO32. I have to take control of all the difficult situations and make sure that everyone does their job.
My first day at the lamppost was in episode 1 Captain Who (It was me) ,It was all rather busy but I think I did rather well. The Roons tried to take over my new lamppost but I managed to frighten them off with a bit of quick thinking and a fire extinguisher.
My hobbies are video games, dressing up, my guitar and playing with toys but don’t tell the others about that last one. I am sure that they don’t know and I would like to keep that bit a secret.
Brigadier Big Beam thinks I do a very good job of looking after HO32 and that is what is most important.
I do like telling everyone what to do because it makes me feel rather important but sometimes I wish I could make better decisions. I hate it when Contact, Burnout, Spotlight and even Livewire have better ideas than I do. But I am still the boss.
But Charge does need me to look after him. In Episode 17 “The tooth of the matter”, I had to make up a story so I could take Charge to the dentist because he would not go. Even when young Livewire was happy to go but not Charge. So I had to trick Charge into going by telling him the Brigadier wanted to see him. Rather clever I thought.
